How to Increase Growth Hormone
No matter how much we may try to fight it, there is nothing we can do to truly stop the aging process. Women struggle with wrinkles and other issues they find simply unbearable, while men struggle with reduced testosterone and growth hormones, lessening libido and muscle mass.
Luckily though there are things you can do to help slow the progressive decline of HGH (human grown hormones) in your body and possibly even reverse the process.
1. First is Sleep! It may have been “cool” to stay up and party into the wee hours of the morning when you were in college, but face it, you are past that now and sleep is essential to your health. In fact, studies have found that getting the proper amount of sleep could actually boost testosterone, neurotransmitters, memory and Growth Hormone.
2. Don’t stop exercising. So what if you are no longer at your prime. Getting an intense, heart pounding, sweat causing, hard to breathe workout is good for you. If done the right way, (ie interval training) this type of intense exercise can increase your growth hormone for a few hours after your workout.
3. Consider HGH supplements. Unlike illegal injections, HGH supplements have been designed to stimulate your body to increase its natural stores of human growth hormone. This allows you to get all the benefits of HGH without any of the negative side effects.
4. Watch your insulin levels. Insulin is negatively correlated with growth hormone. In other words, the more insulin your body retains, the less growth hormones you will have. Avoid high insulin levels by choosing not to eat foods high in sugar and staying away from starchy carbs. Be especially careful not to eat a high carb meal before going to bed.
5. This leads right into the next suggestion. Don’t eat right before bed. The first two hours of sleep is the time when the most hormones are released. If you eat a large meal before retiring to bed this may cause the insulin overload we talked about before. This insulin overload may block the other hormones from being able to perform their functions and stop your body from getting all the benefits that can come from the hormones while sleeping.
It is suggested that you stop eating at least 2 hours before bed.

6. Laugh a little more. Laughter has been shown to spike growth hormone. In a study performed in the 1980s men experienced an 87% spike in growth hormone just from the anticipation of a humorous show.
7. Eat healthy, small meals. Eating 5-6 small meals daily instead of 2-3 large ones could help to increase your growth hormone. Eating small meals throughout the day will allow your metabolism to continue to work throughout the day and avoid the large release of insulin that usually occurs when you haven’t eaten for a long period of time.
These are just a few simple suggestions to help you get back your youthful energy and help you feel more alive and ready to take on the world. There are additional growth hormone supplements you can take to help increase your hormone production as you age. You should always, however, consult a doctor or healthcare provider before deciding which supplements are right for you.
