GABA is a substance already found in your body. Its job is to stimulate the pituitary gland to produce and release more HGH. GABA only works if dopamine is present and that is where L-Dopa comes in. L-Dopa is converted into dopamine by your body. Somatroph HC has 20 mg of GABA and 50 mg of L-Dopa.

Taurine is commonly found in supplements because of its ability to help improve mental focus and concentration. L-Glutamine helps prevent the breakdown of muscle (catabolism). We could not determine how much Taurine and L-Glutamine are used in Somatroph HC.

There are some other inactive ingredients that mainly contribute to flavor and preservation.

Does Somatroph HC Work?

For a supplement to be effective, it needs two things: the correct ingredients and the effective dose of each active ingredient.

Somatroph HC does have the correct ingredients. L-Dopa, GABA, Taurine, and L-Glutamine are commonly found in HGH supplements, because they are proven to be effective.

Unfortunately, Somatroph HC does not have an effective dose of each active ingredient. The recommended amount is 50 mg. L-Dopa is the only ingredient that is 50 mg. GABA is one of the most important ingredients in Somatroph HC and there are only 20 mg of it. Some research has shown that you need at least 5000 mg of GABA for it to be an effective contributor.

If you want an HGH supplement to help you build muscle and/or lose weight, Somatroph HC is not a great choice. Yes, Somatroph may be more affordable than some HGH supplements, but considering that it is not very effective; you would be better off spending your money on a different supplement.
